قطع الانترنت عن شمال ووسط سيناء بالتزامن مع هجوم الجيش على أوكار الإرهابيين

أفادت مصادر مطلعة؛ أن أجهزة أمنية قامت بقطع الخدمة عن عدد من شبكات الاتصالات؛ وقطع تام لشبكة الانترنت عن مدينة العريش ورفح ومدينة الشيخ زويد؛ ووسط وشمال سيناء. فجر اليوم الأربعاء.
وأفادت أنباء؛ عن احتمال فرض القوات المسلحة حظر التجول في شمال سيناء؛ لتتمكن من فرض السيطرة على المشتبه في تورطهم في مجزرة رفح الإرهابية، والتي سقط ضحيتها 16 مجندًا وضابطًا مصريًا، وإصابة 7 آخرين من قوات حرس الحدود؛ ومنع هروبهم إلى خارج البلاد

حالة من الجدل واللغط يشهدها قطاع الاتصالات المصري، عقب تصريحات محمد سالم، وزير الاتصالات، عن إجراء تعديلات على قانون الاتصالات تشترط وجود حصة للمصريين في رأسمال شركات الاتصالات.

وأثارت تصريحات وزير الاتصالات جدلًا كونها تصطدم بشكل مباشر مع صفقة بيع أوراسكوم للاتصالات لمعظم حصتها في موبينيل لصالح فرانس تليكوم، بينما خرجت تصريحات أخرى تقول إن المقصود هو وجود حصة للمصريين في رأسمال الشركات الجديدة وليست القائمة، أو إنه لن يتم التطبيق على كل الشركات دفعة واحدة وإنما ستتم دراسة وضع كل شركة بشكل منفصل، من جانب الجهاز القومي لتنظيم الاتصالات.

تلقت "بي. أتش. إكس. إكس" (PHXX)، إحدى الشركات المتخصصة بتطوير النظم والمنصات التكنولوجية والتي تملك خبرة طويلة في مجال تكنولوجيا الفيديو عبر الإنترنت "أو. تي. تي" (OTT) والوسائط الجديدة وخدمات الألعاب، مؤخرا التمويل اللازم لمواصلة تطوير وتعزيز منصة "ريتش أو. تي. تي" (ReachOTT).
واستثمرت "الفلك للمعدات والتجهيزات الإلكترونية"، إحدى الشركات الرائدة في مجال توفير الحلول التكنولوجية المتكاملة في الشرق الأوسط، مبلغ 250,000 دولار أمريكي في شركة "بي. أتش. إكس. إكس" لدعم مبادرة منصة "ريتش أو. تي. تي".

According to the Pan Arab Research Center (PARC), telecom companies make up four of the five top-spending advertisers during the holy month of Ramadan. Etisalat Egypt, Zain, Mobinil and Mobily spent almost US$200 million (Dh734.5m) during Ramadan last year. PARC figures do not take into account discounted or free advertising, but provide a benchmark for this year's Ramadan spending.

The cell phone service company Vodafone was given the final approval to launch the service.
Hatem Dowidar, the executive president of Vodafone company in Egypt, said in previous statements to Youm7 that the central bank had approved the plan to allow cell phone companies to set up mobile money transfers starting this summer.

أعلن الدكتور عمرو بدوى، الرئيس التنفيذى للجهاز القومى لتنظيم الاتصالات، وجود خطة من جانب وزارة الاتصالات، لسرعة نشر خدمات البرودباند بحلول عام 2020 تحت اسم EMASR، وهو ما تسعى الوزارة إلى تعميمه بشكل كبير، ويتضمن تأهيل المستخدمين للحصول على ذلك، حيث تسعى الوزارة، من خلال تلك الخطة، للوصول إلى زيادة سرعة الإنترنت إلى 2 ميجا، كحد أدنى على مستوى مصر، موضحًا أن تلك الخطة تتم بالتعاون مع خبراء دوليين ومتخصصين بالجهاز القومى لتنظيم الاتصالات لدعم وصول البرودباند إلى كافة أنحاء مصر.
