Le Libanais Habib Haddad vient de prendre la direction de Wamda, une plateforme Web de soutien à la création d’entreprises. Son but ? En plus d'une aide financière, Wamda (qui signifie étincelle en arabe) entend devenir une sorte d'e-campus pour les start-up de l'ensemble du monde arabe. Wamda a été initiée en septembre 2010 à l’instigation d’Abraaj Capital, le plus important fonds d’investissement régional, avec quelque 6,6 milliards de dollars en gestion et des actions dans 36 entreprises et 11 pays.
