US Embassy housing citizens barred from leaving Egypt.
CAIRO: A new report published on Monday says the United States Embassy in Cairo is sheltering American citizens working for NGOs in the country who have been barred from leaving the country.
The Washington Post said Embassy officials and a former NGO official have confirmed that the US citizens banned from leaving Egypt are currently on its grounds.

أكد مايكل منير رئيس منظمة أيد واحده وحزب الحياة أن جريدة وبوابة الوفد تحتضر من بعد ثورة 25 يناير .
وقال فى تصريحات لبرنامج بلدنا بالمصرى الذى يعرض على قناة ontv، لدى العديد من التقارير التى نشرتها الوفد غير صحيحة منها خبر حول إختطاف شباب ماسبيرو أثناء إعتصامهم لفتاة محجبة وهو ما لم يحدث .

Egyptian Canadians for Democracy is organizing a rally in Ottawa in solidarity with pro-democracy protesters in Egypt. The event took place in front of the Egyptian Embassy in Ottawa at 454 Laurier Avenue East from 12:00p.m. to 2:00p.m. Tuesday, 3 January 2012.

بدأت جهات التحقيق القضائية المختصة بوزارة العدل تحقيقات موسعة في شأن التمويل الأجنبي الذي تتلقاه الجمعيات الأهلية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني المصرية. وكان المستشار محمد عبد العزيز الجندي وزير العدل قد أمر بتشكيل لجنة لتقصي الحقائق في هذا الشأن في ضوء تكليف من رئيس الوزراء الدكتور عصام شرف. وكشف تقرير اللجنة عن وجود مجموعات من منظمات المجتمع المدني التي تتلقي الأموال من جهات أجنبية ووجود مخالفات قانونية في عمليات التمويل الأجنبي، على نحو وافق معه مجلس الوزراء على إحالة التقرير وما ورد به من معلومات إلى جهات التحقيق القضائية المختصة. يشار إلى أن لجنة تقصي الحقائق أعدت تقريرا مفصلا في شأن التمويل الأجنبي للمنظمات الأهلية تضمن حجم واستخدامات المساعدات المباشرة الموجهة للمجتمع المدني المصري وكذلك التمويل المقدم للمنظمات الدولية غير المرخص لها بالعمل في مصر. وتضمن التقرير حصرا لكافة للمعونات والمنح الأجنبية للمنظمات الأهلية وحجم المبالغ الممنوحة من الجهات الخارجية واستخداماتها من جانب تلك المنظمات.
