The Associated Press seeks an experienced editor to work on the Middle East regional desk in Cairo, Egypt.

The AP editor will work on the editing desk as part of one of the world's most important on-going stories, the political turmoil in the Arab world. Others topics to be covered include Israel, Iran and the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Applicants must have at least five years of full-time daily reporting experience, fluency in English and authorization to work in Egypt.
