The Government has said it will vote for a Labour motion to call for the withdrawal of Rupert Murdoch's bid to take over BSkyB
All three main parties will support the parliamentary motion on Wednesday which will call on Mr Murdoch to abandon the takeover. The text states that "this House believes that it is in the public interest for Rupert Murdoch and News Corporation to withdraw their bid for BSkyB".
Prime Minister David Cameron's spokesman said: "We are intending to support it."
