Salmawy keeps his post as chairman of the Egyptian Writers Union

The Egyptian Writers Union held its first post-revolution elections, voting in writer and journalist Mohamed Salmawy as president for the second consecutive session

The Egyptian Writers Union, yesterday, voted a new governing council, keeping for the second consecutive session renowned writer and journalist Mohamed Salmawy as union presiden. Salmawy received the highest number of votes in these elections as in the pervious election.
The new Council will hold its first meeting in the next couple of days.
