قال رئيس البورصة المصرية الدكتور محمد عمران، أن شطب أسهم الشركة المصرية لخدمات التليفون المحمول''موبينيل'' من جداول السوق، يتوقف على رغبة شركة فرانس تليكوم والتى ستنتهي من الاستحواذ على أسهم ''موبينيل'' الأسبوع المقبل لتصبح المالك الرئيسي للشركة.

France Telecom SA (FTE) will seek approval from Egyptian regulators to buy out the remaining publicly traded shares in its local wireless venture with billionaire Naguib Sawiris in a 1.5-billion-euro ($2 billion) transaction.

قالت شركة فرانس تيليكوم إن خبر صفقة استحواذها على حصة اوراسكوم للاعلام والاتصالات صار لجميع المساهمين، مما سيتيح لموبينيل الاستمرار في إدارة أعمالها ويعطي المساهمين الأقلية الراغبين في بيع أسهمهم الفرصة بأن يقوموا ببيعها بسعر مميز ( أكثر من ضعف متوسط سعر السهم في السوق قبل الإعلان عن الصفقة).

Social network Facebook is expanding its reach into the emerging markets through a partnership with France Telecom owned Orange in Africa.

As with SMS, Facebook via USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) uses the signalling channel as the bearer and effectively allows users to access the service, regardless of the phone that they are using. So Orange users with older or very basic handsets without an internet connection or data plan will be able to update their Facebook pages through a text-based interface.

القاهرة، مصر (CNN)-- أعلنت شركة "أوراسكوم للاتصالات" عن توقيع اتفاق مع شركة "فرانس تليكوم" يتضمن قيام الأولى بالبيع المبكر لجزء من أسهمها في شركة "موبينيل"، على أن تتقدم الأخيرة بعرض لشراء كافة الأسهم "حرة التداول"، بنفس سعر البيع.

انضم نحو ألف من العاملين بالشركة المصرية للاتصالات إلى معتصمى ميدان التحرير بعد ظهر اليوم ، وذلك بعد قيامهم بعمل مسيرة من سنترال رمسيس إلى قلب ميدان التحرير تضامنا مع مطالب الثوار للتحقيق فى ملفات الفساد بالشركة التى قدموها منذ أكثر من شهر إلى رئيس مجلس الوزراء ولم يتم إتخاذ أى إجراء فيها.   وقد انضموا إلى الاتحاد العام للنقابات المستقلة لرفع مطالبهم إلى المجلس العسكرى.

Egypt’s revolution has not dimmed Telecom Egypt’s ambition to push further into mobile phone services and the company aims to secure a mobile virtual network license towards the end of the year, its chairman said. The mostly state-owned landline monopoly is relying, for now, on data services to offset lower fixed-line income and has also been trying to establish a mobile operation to boost longer-term growth prospects.

أعلنت شركة "أوراسكوم تليكوم القابضة"، فى بيان لها تلقته البورصة اليوم، عن قيام الشركة حاليا بمخاطبة الجهات المختصة بشأن عملية تقسيم الشركة كشركة قاسمة تنقسم منها شركة أوراسكوم للاتصالات والإعلام والتكنولجوجى، وتتوقع أن تحصل على الموافقات اللازمة فى غضون الأسابيع القادمة.وأشار البيان إلى أن الشركة تبقى ملتزمة تجاه مساهميها بتنفيذ تلك الصفقة فى أسرع وقت ممكن، كما أنه سيتم الإعلان عن بيانات إضافية فى أقرب وقت ممكن.

 Qatari international news channel Al-Jazeera has made preliminary contact with France Telecom-Orange about acquiring TV channel Orange Sport, reports Le Parisien. Al-Jazeera is also bidding for broadcast rights to France's Ligue 1 football championship for the 2012-2016 seasons.
