Google, Asustek to unveil co-branded tablet in May - report

Google and Asustek are slated to unveil a co-branded tablet PC in May. The tablet, which will target Amazon's Kindle Fire, will be priced at USD 199 to 249, The Digitimes reports citing industry sources. The tablet will feature a 7-inch screen and the Google Play Store.

جوجل تبحث تعزيز التعاون مع نقابة الصحفيين الالكترونيينكشف صلاح عبدالصبور رئيس الهيئة التأسيسية للنقابة المصرية للصحفيين الإلكترونيين عن تلقي النقابة اتصالا من مؤسسة جوجل العالمية تبدي فيه رغبتها في وجود بروتوكول تعاون تدريبي بينهما، بحسب ما قالته صحيفة الوسط الإلكترونية المصرية.

أوضح هناك اجتماع سيتم بين أعضاء مجلس نقابة الصحفيين الإلكترونيين ومسؤولي المشروعات بمؤسسة جوجل خلال الإسبوع المقبل للتنسيق ووضع بنود التعاون.

 وأعربت مها أبو العينين يشركة "جوجل "في مصر عن تقديرها وسعادتها بوجود كيان نقابي للعاملين في الوسائل الإلكترونية في مصر وأن ذلك من شأنه النهوض بالإعلام الجديد في العالم العربي عموماً، مؤكدة أن جوجل تبدي اهتماما خاصا بالنشاط الإعلامي على شبكة الإنترنت في مصر. وأكدت استعداد جوجل التعاون مع النقابة المصرية للصحفيين الإلكترونيين وتقديم دورات تدريبية في الإعلام الجديد من خلال خبراء متخصصيين في النيو ميديا
